The Highland Council has launched an engagement initative about its new Participation and Engagement Strategy.

The draft strategy was approved by Communities and Place Committee last November and we are now seeking views on the strategy from individuals and communities. The Highland Council would be grateful if you could take some time to complete the survey and also share it with your own networks and encourage as many people as possible to respond.
The survey has already been available on-line and via Service Points and Libraries for a number of weeks and you may therefore already have completed it.

However, if you have missed that opportunity, copies of both the strategy and survey are attached below.

The closing date for responses is 23rd April 2026. If you would like to discuss the strategy, please get in contact directly with dot.ferguson@highland.gov.uk.

Completed copies of the survey should be returned directly to: ccsupportWestandMid@highland.gov.uk or hard copies can be posted or handed in to: Community Support & Engagement, Highland Council, Council Offices, 84 High St, Dingwall IV15 9QN.

We will consider all responses, and the final strategy will be submitted to Communities and Place Committee on 21st May 2026.
